La Rosière is a family-friendly ski resort situated at 1850 mt. above sea level, situated on the French Alps. La Rosière village is fairly small in size, usually quiet but very welcoming thanks its chalet-like buildings.
The main touristic heart remains the old city center of La Rosière, where visitors can enjoy local cuisine and bars.
It is linked to La Thuile (Aosta Valley, Italy), which is usually a good option for a more budget ski holiday.
The resort offers 150 km of slopes, mostly for beginner skiers and intermediate skiers, but it also offer some more challenging ones.
A great way to fully discover the ski resort is booking a ski lesson at one of the local schools. Schools can accommodate all types of requests, from private ski lessons, snowboard, group ski lessons and off-piste.
Ski lessons are usually taught in English, French and Italian.
